Delivered through three immersive modules across Africa and the USA, the Global CEO – Africa Programme combines classroom learning, peer collaboration, and international exposure to equip top executives with the insights and leadership skills to drive transformation.
Module 1: Understanding the Global and East & Southern Africa Perspectives 
Focuses on the CEO’s role, leadership strategies, regional business contexts, and value creation in East & Southern Africa.
Module 2: Understanding the West Africa Perspective & Building Your Expansion Strategy
Covers governance, strategy execution, people management, and value creation in West, North, and Central Africa.
Module 3: Global Positioning & African Leadership Solutions
Explores innovation, leadership, culture, global market outlook, and value creation through global expansion.
Intra-Modular Activity: Executive Challenge
Provides participants with the opportunity to apply learning to real-world scenarios and test strategic decision-making.
Patrick Akinwuntan is a Chartered Accountant, pan-African banker, and Fintech expert with an MBA from OAU Ile-Ife and executive training at Harvard Business School. A Fellow of ICAN and honorary Fellow of CIBN, he spent 26 years at Ecobank, retiring as MD and Regional Executive of Nigeria. Patrick led innovative financial initiatives, including West Africa’s first international credit card and a pan-African banking app. He serves on multiple boards, including Airtel Nigeria and Accion Microfinance Bank, and chairs ethics committees. Currently, he is Adjunct Faculty at Lagos Business School, directing the Global CFO and Global CEO Africa programmes.
Isaac Orolugbagbe is a Senior Fellow at the Strategy, Entrepreneurship and SPEB Department of Lagos Business School and an Adjunct Faculty, Strategy & Corporate Governance at Strathmore Business School, Nairobi, Kenya. Currently, Isaac is Chairman of Boctrust Microfinance Bank Limited, Chairman of Fastizers Foods and Confectionery Limited, and Board Director for Beta Computers Limited, Park City Homes Limited, and IDC Farms Limited. In the past, he served as Director for Thomas Wyatts Plc. and Vice-Chairman of Red Star Express Plc.
Professor Enase Okonedo, FCA, is currently the Vice-Chancellor of Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos, Nigeria. Prior to this, she was Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Dean of Lagos Business School (LBS). She also serves on boards in the banking, telecommunications, and power sectors and is the President of AIFA Reading Society – a society committed to achieving sustainable education in Africa by promoting and supporting a reading culture; and a member of the Panel of Advisors, Africa Initiative for Governance (AIG). She is a professor of management and holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from International School of Management (ISM), Paris; an MBA from IESE Business School, Barcelona, and a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Benin.
Professor Olayinka David-West is a renowned academic and thought leader in business management and technology, with decades of experience in IT and financial services. Her work has significantly shaped academia, research, and business policy through strategic insights and analysis. As Dean of Lagos Business School, she provides visionary leadership to one of Africa’s top business institutions. Passionate about digital transformation and inclusive finance, she has held key roles including faculty director, academic director, associate dean, and accreditation lead. Her contributions have been instrumental in securing international accreditations and elevating LBS to strong global rankings.
