Programme Overview

The Agribusiness Management Programme (AgMP) equips participants with the knowledge, skills, and mindset required to excel in Africa’s rapidly evolving agricultural sector. Combining theory with practical learning, the programme addresses value chains, operational excellence, and technology-driven innovation, enabling participants to make strategic decisions and achieve measurable business outcomes.

Through immersive modules, field visits, and peer-to-peer learning, participants gain exposure to local and global agribusiness practices, emerging market trends, and regulatory environments. By the end of the programme, they are prepared to lead transformational initiatives, implement innovative solutions, and build sustainable agribusiness enterprises.

Delivered through three comprehensive modules, the Agribusiness Management Programme blends virtual, hybrid, and field-based learning to strengthen strategic, operational, and leadership capabilities in agribusiness.
Module 1: Strategic Thinking, Mindset Transformation, and Agricultural Value Chains (Virtual)

Covers Nigeria’s agricultural sector, crop and livestock subsectors, value chain opportunities, and innovations in agriculture.

Module 2: Entrepreneurial Positioning and Operational Excellence (Hybrid)

Focuses on entrepreneurial mindset, operational excellence, product development, agribusiness financing, farm management, marketing, and quality management, with case studies and sessions from industry leaders.

Module 3: Global and Local Field Experience (Field Work)
Provides intensive experiential learning through visits to successful agribusinesses in Nigeria and other African countries, networking with practitioners, and developing practical business solutions.

Capstone Project

Dr Adedeji is a visionary academic, entrepreneur, and agribusiness expert with 30 years of global experience across three continents. He has developed over 30 food, beverage, and flavor products and pioneered trademarks in the sector. As the first CEO of Teragro, Transcorp’s agribusiness subsidiary, he established Nigeria’s first commercial juice concentrate factory, supplying Coca-Cola. A turnaround strategist and innovator, he focuses on value-added agro-industrial enterprises in Africa and the USA. He is the founder and CEO of Easysauces Nigeria Limited, producing the trademarked Obe Sauce from a state-of-the-art plant in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos, combining technical expertise with entrepreneurial excellence.
Prof. Ojadi has consulted widely for many companies (including banks, food and beverage and distribution and retail companies, and urban transport development) in the areas of procurement improvement and logistics and supply chain optimisation. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the South African-based Journal of Transport and Supply Chain Management. Prof. Frank Ojadi obtained a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Ife in 1981 (now Obafemi Awolowo University), an MBA from the Maastricht School of Management, Netherlands, and PhD in Transport Economics from the Department of Transport and Supply Chain Management of the University of Johannesburg, South Africa.
Isaac is a Senior Fellow at the Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and SPEB Department of Lagos Business School and an Adjunct Faculty, Strategy & Corporate Governance at Strathmore Business School, Nairobi, Kenya. Currently, Isaac is Chairman of Boctrust Microfinance Bank Limited, Chairman of Fastizers Foods and Confectionery Limited, and Board Director for Beta Computers Limited, Park City Homes Limited, and IDC Farms Limited. In the past, he served as Director for Thomas Wyatts Plc. and Vice-Chairman of Red Star Express Plc.
