Olawale Ajai is a Professor of Legal, Social, and Political Environment of Business and Head of the Strategy Department at Lagos Business School. He holds a PhD in Law and teaches business law, financial inclusion and digital economy regulation, non-market strategy, microeconomics of competitiveness, and public policy. His research focuses on digital financial services policy, business law, corporate sustainability, governance, and non-market strategy. He is a member of the IUCN Environmental Law Commission and serves as Public Policy Lead for the Gates Foundation–funded digital financial services research project at LBS. Previously, he was Group Company Secretary/Legal Adviser and Executive Director at Dunlop Nigeria Plc and held senior research roles at the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, drafting key national environmental legislation.
